The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen has intercepted six ballistic missiles launched towards the kingdom by the Iran-backed Houthi militia.
Coalition spokesperson Major General Turki Al Malki confirmed that air defences thwarted the incoming attacks targeting the cities of Taif and Yanbu.
"Escalations and violations by the terrorist Houthi militia will be dealt with firmly," he said.
