The Education Ministry is organising field trips to foster values of citizenship and a sense of belonging among government school students by deepening their knowledge of Bahrain’s history.
Taking place at landmarks and official and cultural institutions across the kingdom, the visits offer learning opportunities beyond the classroom through age-appropriate experiences aligned with the curriculum.
The programme forms part of the ministry’s efforts to provide a comprehensive educational environment that promotes experiential and observational learning, while encouraging students to understand their nation’s past and present and take pride in their national identity.
The field trips will continue throughout the academic year according to a schedule that takes into account the academic calendar, examination dates and public holidays.
