Bhavans Bahrain Indian School recently celebrated its 13th Founder’s Day, marking the school’s journey and legacy while recognising the contributions of its students, teachers and staff.
The programme began with the Bahrain National Anthem, a prayer song and Holy Quran recitation, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries.
The event featured a musical presentation, titled Journey of Dreams, highlighting the school’s vision and commitment to nurturing students’ aspirations. It was followed by an invocation dance and a video presentation showcasing the school’s milestones and achievements. A dance performance by students further added to the celebration.
Principal Saji Jacob addressed the gathering, reflecting on the school’s journey, while director Himanshu Verma spoke about the institution’s legacy and thanked the students, teachers and staff for their contributions.
An awards ceremony recognised members of the school community for their service and commitment. Teacher Service Awards were presented to educators who had completed five and 10 years of service, while teachers with 100 per cent attendance were also honoured.
Several teachers and students showcased their skills before the event concluded with a vote of thanks.
