Bahrain’s industrial titan Alba has signed on as a ‘Supporting Partner’ for the inaugural Made in GCC 2026 Forum and Exhibition.
The landmark event is set to take place from October 6 to 8 at Exhibition World Bahrain.
Held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad, with the endorsement of the leaders of the GCC member states, the three-day forum will gather key government decision-makers and business leaders to drive forward regional industrial integration and cross-border collaboration.
Industry and Commerce Minister Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro highlighted the significance of the partnership in driving regional economic goals.
“Made in GCC 2026 provides an important platform to showcase the strength and diversity of GCC industry and to deepen cooperation across our regional industrial ecosystem,” Mr Fakhro said.
“The participation of leading manufacturers such as Alba reflects the capabilities, innovation, and international competitiveness that exist across the GCC.”
Alba, recognised as the world’s largest single-site aluminium smelter, plays a pivotal role in the kingdom’s economic matrix, having produced over 1.623 million metric tonnes of aluminium in 2025.
During the exhibition, the company plans to showcase its extensive product portfolio alongside its sustainable manufacturing solutions. A major highlight will be its ‘EternAl’ low-carbon aluminium product line, which incorporates recycled content and verified carbon offsets designed to help global clients hit stringent environmental targets.
Alba chief executive Ali Al Baqali underscored the strategic value of cross-border industrial alliances for the Gulf region.
