Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) Governor Khalid Humaidan took part in the 50th meeting of the Council of Arab Central Banks and Monetary Authorities’ Governors, held in Abu Dhabi.
Speaking at the event, Mr Humaidan highlighted the importance of regional collaboration among financial institutions to safeguard economic stability and bolster resilience against evolving global and regional challenges.
During the summit, the CBB Governor participated in a session titled ‘Framework for Strengthening Financial Stability and Macroprudential Policy in Arab Countries’, where he detailed Bahrain’s proactive strategy in navigating recent regional developments and strengthening its financial ecosystem.
He also joined a high-level roundtable focussed on macroeconomic resilience amid geopolitical uncertainty, joining fellow regional leaders to outline effective policy responses.
The annual gathering brought together central bank governors from across the Arab world to address key monetary priorities, explore joint financial initiatives, and review governance models aimed at building a more integrated regional banking system.
