National carrier Gulf Air is operating its inaugural direct flight to Kuala Lumpur tonight ahead of this weekend's Formula One Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix in Malaysia 2026.
The new commercial route further strengthens the airline’s air connectivity with the Far East.
A delegation of national media professionals are travelling on the flight to cover the grand prix weekend.
Gulf Air is the title sponsor of the kingdom's F1 race.
