Devoted American football fans are purchasing authentic game-used urinal troughs for $3,000 each as a historic US stadium prepares for major redevelopment.
Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, Nebraska, is offering collectable items including seats, art, team benches, and the cast-iron plumbing fixtures ahead of scheduled renovations.
Seven of the 30 available urinal troughs have already been bought by supporters of the Nebraska Cornhuskers team.
Each trough weighs nearly 136kg and dates back to the original construction of the 103-year-old venue.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln has confirmed all fixtures will be thoroughly sanitised before delivery to buyers.
