Beyon Connect, part of the Beyon Group, has announced plans to launch an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Referral Programme, signing its first referral partnership agreement with AMAN Compliance Solutions yesterday during Fintech Forward 2026 at Exhibition World Bahrain.
The agreement was signed by Beyon Connect chief executive Richard Budel and AMAN Group chief executive Dickon Johnstone, in the presence of Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Sustainable Development Minister and Bahrain Economic Development Board (Bahrain EDB) chief executive Noor Al Khulaif, Beyon chairman Shaikh Abdulla bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, UK Trade Commissioner for the Middle East and Pakistan Gemma Stevenson, and UK Chargé d’Affaires to Bahrain Simon Martin.
The programme aims to connect businesses with independent specialist providers to meet evolving operational, regulatory, and compliance demands. Financial crime prevention and compliance services will mark the initiative’s initial focus, with AMAN serving as the founding partner.
Under the framework, Beyon Connect will facilitate client referrals while partner firms remain independent and fully responsible for their own services, commercial agreements, and client relationships.
“Businesses today often require specialist expertise that sits outside their own organisations,” said Mr Budel.
“Through the Beyon Connect Referral Programme, we are making those connections simpler by bringing organisations together with specialists. We are pleased to welcome AMAN as our first referral partner given their leading role in financial crime prevention across the kingdom.”
Mr Johnstone welcomed the collaboration, noting that the initiative gives organisations a direct route to specialised compliance services as regulatory requirements continue to evolve across the region.
The platform assists institutions in meeting local AML, Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and anti-fraud regulations, alongside international best practices, ahead of Bahrain’s upcoming Financial Action Task Force (FATF) evaluation at the end of the year.
