His Majesty King Hamad’s representative for humanitarian works and youth affairs and Bapco Energies board of directors chairman Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa yesterday chaired the group’s board meeting for the third quarter of 2026.
He expressed appreciation for the recent visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Bapco Refining.
Shaikh Nasser noted HRH Prince Salman’s continued support for the energy sector and recognition of the efforts of employees across the group.
The board reviewed the group’s business recovery following the regional conflict, including the normalisation of operations across its businesses and measures taken to maintain operational reliability and continuity.
The board also reviewed Bapco Energies’ financial and operational performance for the third quarter of 2026, including the latest quarterly financial results, alongside updates on key projects and initiatives across the group.
Group chief executive officer Mark Thomas presented an update covering business performance, operational priorities, and developments across the group, as well as progress against priorities for the remainder of the year.
The board concluded its discussions by emphasising the importance of maintaining safe, reliable, and efficient operations while continuing to support the kingdom’s energy requirements and economic development.
