<p>Shaikh Mohammed was received at Pakistan Air Force Base Nur Khan by General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee of the Pakistan Armed Forces, along with several Pakistani generals and army commanders.</p>
<p>Also present were Bahrain&rsquo;s Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammed Ebrahim Mohammed and embassy staff. The visit highlights the longstanding ties between Bahrain and Pakistan, reflecting mutual co-operation and respect across political, economic, military and cultural domains.</p>
<p>These relations have progressed over time to support the interests of both countries and their peoples.</p>

Saud Mubarak Sabt and Issa Hameed Al Anezi both climbed the podium for the meeting’s 120-kilometre ride, with Sabt taking second place and Al Anezi coming third. The Bahraini pair finished behind triumphant Emirati rider Rashid Mohammed. They were joined in yesterday’s awarding by Royal Endurance Team members.   • <p>Interior Ministry Under-Secretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs and Maan (Together) Committee Against Violence and Addiction chairman Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa yesterday received a delegation from the University of North Carolina, led by Professor David Wyrick, as part of ongoing academic and research cooperation between the ministry and international universities. They reviewed the joint study conducted by the Maan Regional Centre for Research and Training and the University of North Carolina on the Maan curriculum for peaceful coexistence and countering extremism. The study showed significant positive results, reflected in students&rsquo; stronger practice of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.</p>

<p>He was received at Belgrade International Airport by Serbia&rsquo;s Foreign Minister Marko Đuric, and Bahrain&rsquo;s Ambassador to Serbia (resident in Russia) Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati.</p>
<p>The visit reflects Bahrain&rsquo;s commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthening ties with European countries and advancing bilateral co-operation to achieve common interests. The tour included the pavilions of Oman, Qatar, Egypt, the US, the UK and Italy. <p>The minister underscored that Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues to uphold its commitment to tolerance and coexistence, while promoting respect for religious and cultural diversity.</p>

<p>Aster has launched a new division in its Sanad branch, focusing on preventive and family-centred healthcare, aiming to support patients in managing both everyday health needs and chronic conditions. The Family and Chronic Disease Clinics offer comprehensive services for all age groups, ranging from early detection of health risks to long-term management of chronic diseases. The division was inaugurated in the presence of family medicine specialists Dr Yusuf Altahoo and Dr Affan Abdullah, area MP Eman Showaiter, and with executives Dr Sherbaz Bichu and Manish Jain.
