His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday met Supreme Judicial Council vice-chairman and Court of Cassation president Chancellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainain.
Chancellor Al Buainain presented HRH Prince Salman with a report on initiatives to further develop the work of the judiciary in Bahrain.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the importance of multilateral co-operation to holistically advance the kingdom’s development.
He highlighted the unwavering support provided by His Majesty King Hamad to the kingdom’s judicial authority.
He also noted that further development of the justice system aims to reinforce the principle of fairness as a basic pillar for enhancing security and stability, which contributes to the kingdom’s comprehensive development.
He stressed the importance of continuing initiatives that invest in and support the development of the national workforce within the judicial branch.
Chancellor Al Buainain expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his support, “which contributes to strengthening the role played by the Supreme Judicial Council in guaranteeing the rule of law and protecting rights and freedoms”.
