MANAMA: Naseej is currently developing five housing projects across Bahrain, comprising more than 800 residential units with a total value of approximately BD100 million.
This was revealed by the developer’s senior manager for corporate communications and public relations Emma Sharif during the Gulf Property Show at The Avenues.
The star of the show at the Naseej stand is its flagship project, Canal View in the heart of Dilmunia Island, featuring 246 waterfront apartments across four buildings overlooking a canal promenade.
With a length of about 1.6km, the canal promenade allows residents the opportunity to stroll along the canal on one side, and visit shops, cafes and retail centres on the other.
Naseej had reasons to celebrate last week with more awards being bestowed on the development and the official launch of the development.
The launch ceremony was held under the patronage of Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Development Projects and
Infrastructure Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and in the presence of Naseej chairman Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa.
The official launch of Canal View coincides with the project’s three prestigious awards by the Arab Real Estate Awards for the Best Mixed Use Real Estate Development, Best Retail Project Award, and Best Residential Interior Design Award.
Ahmed Al Hammadi, the general manager of Naseej, said: “Canal View will provide Gulf Property Show’s visitors a unique lifestyle experience in a sought-after destination for those seeking luxury and excellence. The iconic development provides residents private access to rooftop gardens, private apartment gardens, swimming pools, gym and a main clubhouse that delivers canal side living at its finest.”
“Canal View has been uniquely designed to provide many natural features with a public park across the canal’s footbridge and breath-taking water features such as the waterfall footpath and fountain system,” he added.
HCE managing director Jubran Abdulrahman said: “Naseej is the first fully-integrated real estate and infrastructure development company in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) region. They are an ethically driven and socially responsible company who will provide visitors an insight to living in a sustainable development which has the frills of modern luxury.”
Naseej is also showcasing Basateen, located in Busaiteen at the exhibition.
Also complete, with some homes already occupied, it comprises 23 semi-furnished villas in the mid-market segment.
Projects completed by Naseej so far include more than 2,500 homes with a total value of BD148m.
These projects include social and affordable housing projects at Arad, Barbar, Budaiya and Busaiteen; Jumana – the affordable housing and retail component of the PPP at Salman Town; and the luxury villa development of Yasmeenat Saar.
