I HAVE just been down to the post office with my Christmas mail and I’ve been told there is STILL no service to the US (even though I had a couple of cards in my mailbox FROM the US!).
I had a card to send to New Zealand – that also is not allowed.
Finally, I was given a list of the countries that they do accept mail for. Interestingly, you can send mail to Australia, but not New Zealand. You can send mail to Brazil, but not the US.
It’s been two years now that they are not accepting mail to these countries ‘because of Covid’ and could not give me an answer as to when normal service will resume.
I can’t see the logic behind it and I’m wondering if anyone can find out the reason?

*A funny PS: I just noticed the Christmas cards I picked up in my PO Box this morning are postmarked December 2020 – so they have only taken 11 months to get here!
