The deadline for remote learning in all Abu Dhabi schools has been extended to January 21.
The move was announced by the Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee which approved the extension for both public and private schools in the emirate, Khaleej Times reported.
The earlier deadline was set for January 17 and the decision also applies to all universities, colleges and training institutes.
Tests and examinations that require in-school attendance until January 28, 2022 have also been postponed by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority.
The precautionary measures have been laid in place in light of the recent surge in Covid-19 cases.
