Do you think legal action should be taken against people who mock Covid-19 rules? Why, or why not?
Making jokes doesn’t warrant arrest. That’s ridiculous and makes people feel more upset and will push them to do the opposite of what they should. It’s dumb to arrest people for that.
@sarasoraroxas
Mocking Covid rules is endangering others’ lives! We still see people not wearing proper masks or maintaining the right social distance. Action is required to make them follow the BASIC rules! Abide by the rules otherwise face the consequences, as simple as that!
@1faisals
Mocking Covid rules is not good. Please abide by all the rules and regulations as they are for the good of all of us. We want to have a better life in the future.
@marlenejaramilloj
What do you think the governments will do? Arrest Twitter?
@master_lemontoboggan_
A little bit of humour during these testing times is always good. Regardless of the mockery, governments should not take it personal and do what they got to do. That being said, everything should have its limits, in any case.
@itsalwaysbeenj
Only if they are affecting the compliance of the public to important precautionary measures but other than that nothing should happen to them since it should be considered freedom of speech.
@midohn
Legal actions should be taken against everyone who mocks.
@meciiskander
Legal action is actually not required against people who mock but against people who violate the Covid rules!
Let them express their views, but follow the government protocols! One thing we need to know is Covid has not yet quit from the world, it is still living in many versions! Each one has the responsibility to maintain personal and public hygiene, wear masks and sanitise well, to make our surrounding a Covid-free space to live our normal life!
Mocking government rules on Covid is of no use; let’s stand together and fight Covid.
@farhanatce
Whoever does not take a life-and-death matter seriously and potentially spreads the virus should be dealt with legally.
@n4dia.elahi
Nope, mocking is nothing, violating is something else.
@bigoof93
Mocking or making fun of the Covid rules is fine as long as you don’t actually follow or mock the rules.
@itsraiedk
Absolutely not. No one should be arrested for giving their opinions, even if you consider it “mocking”; that’s what freedom of speech is all about.
@alimukhyes
It must be strict punishment. And definitely it will stop the spread of the coronavirus.
@m.hbahrain
If people mock Covid rules maybe you didn’t do a good enough job at explaining the rule or proving their efficacy. Or purpose.
@skincare_revs
No, because everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Same as the vaccine it is our choice whether to take it or not, we should not have our freedom taken away because we do not like to put something in our bodies that we have little to no knowledge about.
Again, everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
Damon Kirkland
I’ve been vaccinated twice and got Covid twice ... you can’t fight a virus. It just mutates and comes back stronger. Why should people be punished for speaking the truth ... or even give their opinion?
Patrick Egan
No, more energy should be put in educating people how to live with Covid because we don’t know when it will go. Ask yourself why legal action is not taken against people who spread HIV-Aids and yet it’s more deadly. So, we should learn to live with Covid like we did with HIV.
Kato James
Everyone should abide by the country’s laws.
Saeed Ahmad Shah
Mocking Covid-19 rules not only puts your life in danger but also that of others who you may come in contract with. Governments have time and again stressed the importance of vaccination and compliance with Covid-19 protocols, which have fallen on deaf ears of some. It is time to take appropriate measures including penal actions against all such miscreants. Not only will it help in better community protection but will also help the law-abiding residents from being infected by negligent acts of others.

Plotters appear very righteous outside but inside their homes they destroy everyone around them. Learn to destroy the plotters with free speech.
