Bahrain yesterday recorded 2,241 new Covid-19 cases and 1,182 recoveries.
This takes the total recoveries to 284,060.
There are 17,415 active cases in the country of whom 29 are being treated in hospital and four people are critical.
Bahrain has so far registered 302,872 cases and conducted 8,358,734 tests.
Meanwhile, our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej quoted Statistical Centre as saying yesterday that the overall number of Covid cases in the GCC topped 2,744,531 as on Thursday.
It said the recovery rate in the six nations stood at 93.4 per cent, at 2,564,269 patients. Deaths reached 19,696.
