Bahrain’s women’s national futsal team will take on Saudi Arabia in the semi-final of the third West Asian Football Federation Championship.
The match will start at 6pm today at King Abdullah Sports City Hall in Jeddah.
Bahrain qualified for the semi-finals by topping the first group after defeating Palestine (6-0) in the first round, and Iraq (1-0) in the second round.
Led by Brazilian coach Lino, the squad comprises Dalal Abdullah Mohammed, Zahra Nizar Hamid, Shaikha Al Anoud bint Hamad Al Khalifa, Yasmine Fayez Fouad, Rose Fayez Fouad, Manar Ibrahim Jassim, Fatima Hamad Mohammed, Amira Badr Siwar, Hessa Riyad Al Issa, Hajar Abdul Rahman Al Ansari, Rawan Nabil Al Ali, Lilia Jaweed Sabkar, Iman Rashid Al Khatal and Wisal Ahmed Al Yasi.
