Bahrain’s landmark achievements attained as a result of the ongoing comprehensive development process were reviewed when His Majesty King Hamad held a meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, at Sakhir Palace yesterday.
The King expressed thanks and appreciation to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for the fruitful efforts he is exerting to improve the performance of public institutions and government departments, contributing effectively to optimising national gains.
They reviewed positive outcomes of a consultative meeting, hosted by Egypt and attended by His Majesty, recently.
The meeting contributed to further enhancing joint Arab action and strengthening the pillars of regional security, they said.
His Majesty thanked Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi for hosting the meeting, commending the efforts of President Al Sisi and other participating leaders to ensure its success.
The King praised the progress currently witnessed by Egypt, under President Al Sisi’s leadership, citing the mega development projects implemented across the country.
He affirmed Egypt’s pivotal role as a cornerstone of the region’s stability as well as that of the joint Arab action at all levels.
His Majesty also expressed pride in the positive outcomes of his recent visit to France, where he held talks with President Emmanuel Macron.
He noted that the visit will boost the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The King expressed appreciation to President Macron for the warm welcome accorded to him during the visit.
His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reviewed several local issues and topics.
Referring to the new academic year, the King wished the students, teachers and the administrative staff in the kingdom success, commending the tremendous efforts exerted by the Education Ministry and all its affiliates and entities in strengthening the education process in Bahrain.
