All cars in Bahrain are imported though, they don’t manufacture cars in Bahrain.

Very misleading information; it’s only for commercial vehicles and not for private cars.

The cars that get officially imported by dealers are built for Bahrain and according to GCC specs.
For eg, the AC system is built better than Russia because it’s a lot hotter here. And if you import a car from America, for eg, you wouldn’t be able to repair the AC because the gas it uses is different and you can’t even buy the unique gas it uses because it is illegal to do so.
Also the ban is for commercial/work vehicles only.
