A job opening advertisement put out by a school in India looking for a new maths teacher has gone viral because of its unique approach of hiding the phone number within a complex math equation.
The Bhaktashram school in Gujurat, India recently put out an ad looking for a new maths teacher. But instead of providing a phone number for prospective applicants to call, the instead had a complex math equation. Applicants would have to solve the equation to get the contact number for the school, in effect turning the ad to the first round of interviews.
Since being shared online, the ad has already received more than 1.8 million views and over 22,000 likes.
Many users were impressed by the ad, applauding the recruiter for being smart in his approach to hiring a new teacher. They also commented that this approach would guarantee that only qualified people would be able to contact the school for the job.
