Arab, GCC and international media outlets have focused on the keynote speech delivered by His Majesty King Hamad at the 32nd Arab Summit in Jeddah on Friday.
While addressing the pan-Arab summit, the King stressed the need to preserve the legitimate rights of Egypt and Sudan in the waters of the Nile River, confirming Bahrain’s principled stance towards this issue, and firm approach in supporting the just causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
Egyptian newspapers Al-Ahram and El-Youm El-Sabe newspaper and the website of Al-Qahera News TV highlighted the King’s call for achieving Arab integration.
Saudi Al Youm newspaper focused on the King’s confirmation of Egypt’s water rights, and call for stepping up joint Arab action with more determination and solidarity to establish stability and harmony that Arab peoples must enjoy.
