A FATHER-OF-FOUR took home $1 million as Ahli United Bank’s (AUB) second MyHassad Dream Prize winner.
Bahraini Hussain Makki Meftah, who has been an AUB customer for 13 years, said he believed in the concept and had faith that one day he would win big.
“At first, I thought it was a fraudulent call. I was just in disbelief as such news would be hard to believe,” he said, during a prize presentation ceremony at the bank’s flagship branch in Adliya.
“This is a huge win for me and my family.”
Mr Meftah said he had always recommended MyHassad to family and friends and his win would validate to them the rewards of saving and trusting that someday that habit would reap benefits.
AUB customers still have a chance to win massive prizes with the savings scheme, with various prizes up for grabs.
Next month, the bank is giving away 15 mega prizes worth $25,000 each, 50 prizes worth $1,000 and 50 ‘Loyalty Prizes’ worth $1,000 – adding to $475,000.
In July, one lucky winner will take way the third Dream Prize of $1m.
The bank announced that June 26 is the last day to make a deposit to qualify for the next MyHassad millionaire draw.
For each BD50 deposited in the saving scheme, customers get one chance of winning; they can increase their chances by depositing more and maintaining their balances for longer periods of time.
The MyHassad Savings Scheme can be a customer’s account or purchased as certificates. Both options are digitally available to AUB customers and new clients wishing to participate in the draws.
