BAHRAIN congratulated Saudi Arabia as citizens and residents revelled in spectacular celebratory events staged over the weekend to mark the kingdom’s 93rd National Day.
The events, organised by the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority under the theme ‘Delighted to See You’, have been lined up to commemorate the special occasion celebrated today.
His Majesty King Hamad sent a cable of congratulations to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, wishing him abundant health, happiness and a long life.
His Majesty also wished for further progress and prosperity for the Saudi people, under the leadership of King Salman.
His Majesty expressed pride in the deep-rooted relations and affirmed Bahrain’s constant keenness to continue strengthening its co-operation, within the strategic partnership.
The King praised the approach adopted by Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to enhance economic development and prosperity across the region, in a way that ensures security, stability and peace for all.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also congratulated King Salman and expressed pride in the long-standing relations between the two kingdoms.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister sent a similar cable to the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Government ministers, senior officials and officers, Parliament and Shura Council chiefs, diplomats and prominent citizens also congratulated Saudi Arabia on the occasion.
