His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received the credentials of 18 newly-appointed ambassadors during a ceremony held at Sakhir Palace yesterday.
He extended His Majesty King Hamad’s greetings to the ambassadors’ heads of state and his best wishes for success in their diplomatic duties to strengthen co-operation between the kingdom and the respective countries.
The ambassadors extended to His Majesty greetings from their heads of state, wishing Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity, while commending longstanding relations at all levels. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister further conveyed his own greetings to the ambassadors’ heads of state.
He commended the strength of bilateral relations between Bahrain and their respective countries, which are witnessing further progress and prosperity at all levels.
He wished them success in performing their diplomatic duties to achieve mutual aspirations.
He also emphasised the kingdom’s commitment to continue building on what has been achieved by furthering bilateral relations and co-operation to benefit all.

The ceremony was attended by His Majesty’s Personal Representative Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the King’s representative for humanitarian work and youth affairs, National Security Adviser and Royal Guard Commander Lieutenant General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Isa bin Salman Education Charitable Trust board of trustees chairman Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Royal Protocol chief Major General Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Fadhala, and Foreign Ministry Political Affairs Under-Secretary Dr Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
The ambassadors had arrived separately at Sakhir Palace, where they were received by the Royal Protocol chief.
