The Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tunisian Olympic Committee to strengthen the existing co-operation.
The agreement was signed by Supreme Council for Youth and Sport first deputy chairman, General Sports Authority chairman, and BOC president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Tunisian Olympic Committee president Mahrez Boussian, in the presence of Cabinet Affairs Ministry Under-Secretary and BOC vice president Shaikh Isa bin Ali Al Khalifa and BOC secretary general Faris Al Kooheji.
On the occasion, Shaikh Khalid expressed his pride in the strong relations between Bahrain and Tunisia, stressing that the signing of the MoU signifies the strengthening of the ties between the two countries. The agreement he said, aims to develop sports activities and enhance the Olympic movement in the two countries.
At the end of the meeting, the Tunisian Olympic Committee chief presented a memento to Shaikh Khalid.
