A special first-aid training workshop for children aged between 12 and 17 was organised by the Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) at its headquarters.
The event, Little Paramedic, provided the young with theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to administer first aid to themselves and others in need.

The training addressed various topics including ways to manage fractures, burns, nosebleeds and heat stroke among other emergencies.
Participants were briefed on the contents of a first aid kit and had the opportunity to practise the skills using specialised models.
The programme aims to enable children to deliver first aid before a paramedic arrives to tackle emergencies.
