Bahrain Football Association (BFA) vice president Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Isa Al Khalifa and BFA secretary general Rashid Al Zaabi attended the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Annual Awards Ceremony for 2023, held in South Korea.
The ceremony was attended by AFC president and Fifa first vice president Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa alongside Fifa president Gianni Infantino and other prominent figures from Asian football.
Shaikh Khalifa commended the work led by Shaikh Salman, recognising his significant efforts in advancing Asian football across all levels.
He commended the 2023 AFC awards ceremony, which demonstrates the confederation’s commitment to supporting its members. He also praised the AFC and host country South Korea for organising the event in a way that honoured Asian football.
