Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayyed yesterday received UK Ambassador Alistair Long, and praised the depth of co-operation and friendship between Bahrain and the UK in various fields, including the health sector.
They discussed ways to enhance co-operation, exchange expertise and experiences, and implement programmes between the two sides in various specialisations. The minister stressed the importance of continuing to improve the quality and efficiency of health services provided to all.
Dr Al Sayyed separately met newly-appointed Sri Lankan Ambassador Rithisri Wijeratne Mendis, and discussed prominent topics of common interest. The ambassador stressed the level of long-standing relations, noting the importance of developing co-operation to achieve common goals and aspirations.
