The 32nd edition of Jewellery Arabia 2024, held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has concluded on a high note, achieving remarkable growth across key metrics and reiterating its status as the region’s largest and most prestigious jewellery and watch exhibition.
This year’s edition, held over a span of five days at the Exhibition World Bahrain, witnessed a significant increase in visitor attendance, reaching over 51,185 and marking a 19.5 per cent increase compared to the previous year, while the official Jewellery Arabia & Scent Arabia mobile app saw an impressive 83pc increase in downloads, reflecting the growing engagement with the event’s digital innovations.
Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) chief executive Sarah Buhiji affirmed that the strong turnout this year reinforces the Bahrain’s position as a leading hub for business tourism, in line with the Tourism Strategy 2022-2026.
She added: “We appreciate the efforts of Informa Markets and their prominent role in organising and ensuring the success of this distinguished annual event.”
Informa Markets general manager Mohammed Ebrahim indicated that the results of this year’s two exhibitions exceeded expectations, providing a world-class experience for both exhibitors and visitors.
He further said: “Informa Markets’ evaluations of exhibitors’ feedback showed a satisfaction rate of 92pc. We are proud of the continuous development of the exhibition and are committed to successfully organising it going forward. As the 32nd edition concluded, we have already started preparations for the 2025 edition, which we will strive to make an exceptional experience for visitors and exhibitors.”
It is worth noting that the Jewellery Arabia & Scent Arabia exhibitions set a record this year with the number of exhibitors, reaching 703 exhibitors from 27 countries. They were distributed across six halls at the Exhibition World Bahrain, offering visitors a unique and exceptional experience.
