Northern Governor Ali Al Asfoor yesterday chaired a weekly consultative meeting with the governorate’s officials, during which a number of upcoming health, environmental and sports projects, events and programmes were reviewed.
He praised the ‘Hayat Plus’ application, which won the ‘Fikra’ government innovation competition, indicating that this application is in line with the Healthy Cities Programme implemented by the governorate in co-operation with the World Health Organisation, which works to ensure public safety and promote the concept of safety as the responsibility of everyone.
Mr Al Asfoor also stressed that the application represents a vital link to preserve and save lives in critical moments, so that every citizen and resident has an effective role in building a safer society.
