The UN chief has welcomed the agreement signed by Israel and Hamas to cease fire and free Israeli hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.
“We have all waited far too long for this moment,” United Nations Secretary General António Guterres said yesterday.
“Now we must make it truly count.”
He urged all parties to fully abide by the terms of the agreement – and to fully embrace the opportunities it presents.
