The 36th edition of Autumn Fair was inaugurated yesterday at Exhibition World Bahrain, Sakhir, and will run until January 31.
Nearly 600 exhibitors from more than 24 countries are showcasing a wide range of products – including textiles, food, furniture, perfumes, handicrafts and more – all under one roof. This year’s exhibition features a diverse range of international pavilions displaying thousands of imported products for the first time in the Bahraini market. Several countries, including Mali, Kenya and Thailand, are also participating for the first time.
Visitors can enjoy family entertainment with the beloved mascots Dabdoub and Dabdouba from 6pm to 7pm, explore a dedicated electronic gaming zone, and savour global flavours at the expanded food court.
Tourism Minister Fatima Al Sairafi called the exhibition one of the most prominent events hosted by Bahrain, highlighting that its continuity reflects the kingdom’s well-established position on the regional and international exhibitions and conventions tourism map.
She praised the significant support extended to the tourism sector by His Majesty King Hamad, and the directives and close attention of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, towards advancing the sector.
She noted that this support has contributed to creating an attractive environment for investment and tourism, while strengthening the role of major events as key economic drivers across various sectors.
Autumn Fair is open daily from 10am to 10pm in Halls 2, 3, 5 and 6. Entry is free of charge, subject to prior registration.
