His Majesty King Hamad yesterday received a telephone call from Latvia’s President Edgars Rinkēvičs, who expressed his condemnation and denunciation of the Iranian attacks targeting the territory of Bahrain.
He affirmed his country’s solidarity and support for the measures undertaken by Bahrain to safeguard its sovereignty, security and national achievements.
His Majesty affirmed that the kingdom will remain steadfast in its established approach founded on wisdom and moderation, and in promoting peace and co-operation with its Arab, regional and international partners, in a manner that serves the security and stability of the region.
The King also expressed his appreciation for the positions of Latvia, as well as for the President’s sentiments of solidarity and his support for the kingdom.
