Nine people have been arrested and more than nine kilograms of narcotics worth an estimated value of BD684,000 seized in four separate cases.
The Interior Ministry said the suspects, aged between 22 and 68, were arrested by the Bahrain Anti-Narcotics Directorate, with one operation carried out in co-operation with Customs Affairs.
The cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
