JIU-JITSU – Ema Abduljalil Janahi bagged a medal double, highlighted by one gold, at the Asian Jiu-Jitsu IBJJF Championship 2026, held in Chiba, Japan.
Representing Reza’s Martial Arts Centre in the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJFF) competition, Janahi secured her continental title in the female master four brown belt light-feather (53.50kg) category.
She was joined on the podium by silver-medallist Maiko Robinson of Carpe Diem Kamakura and bronze medal winner Megumi Shioda of Arta.
Janahi added a bronze medal to her winnings in the female master four brown belt open class.
Taking gold in the division was Marie Ann Choi of One Jiu-Jitsu USA, while Anne Toni Dela Cruz of Ralph Gracie Pleasanton captured silver.
