The Blood Donors Kerala (BDK) Bahrain Chapter hosted a ceremony at the KIMSHEALTH Medical Centre auditorium to present the inaugural Vinod Bhaskaran Memorial Award in honour of its late founder Vinod Bhaskaran.
Dr Amarjit Kaur Sandhu was honoured with the award in recognition of her dedicated service.
It was presented by Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam president P V Radhakrishna Pillai, BDK Bahrain Chapter chairman K T Salim and president Roji John.
Social workers, BDK executive committee and members were present.
