Muharraq Governor Salman Bin Hindi praised the efforts of Bahraini writers and researchers in documenting the nation’s collective memory and preserving its historical and social heritage.
“Such publications play an important role in passing the kingdom’s history and authentic heritage on to future generations.”
He made the remarks while receiving Dr Khalid Ismail Al Alawi, who presented him with a copy of his book, From the Neighbourhood’s Memory: Stories and Testimonies from Days Gone By.
