Lieutenant General Tariq Al Hassan, Chief of Police and Chairman of the Royal Academy of Police Scientific Council, met with newly graduated officers from the 14th batch of university graduate officer cadets.
The batch graduated on July 16 in a ceremony attended by Interior Minister and Royal Academy of Police Board of Trustees Chairman General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa.
The Chief of Police congratulated the newly graduated officers and commended the directives of the Interior Minister and his close follow-up in preparing highly qualified and professional police personnel capable of strengthening the security and policing system and serving the kingdom.
Lt Gen Al Hassan said the Interior Ministry, under the directives of the Interior Minister, continues to implement its programmes in line with a comprehensive strategic vision focused on modernising the security system, enhancing training and qualification, adopting modern technologies, and improving the quality of security services in accordance with international best practices and the requirements of the present and the future. He added that the human element will remain the cornerstone of development and the foundation of successful security work.
