Pakistani TikTok content creator Ayesha Gilamana, known online as Shamsoo Bibi, was shot dead in the eastern city of Taxila, near Islamabad.
On August 14, the 28-year-old reportedly received a phone call instructing her to step outside her house immediately.
Ayesha left in a car accompanied by her sister, Aseema, 15, and brother, Naimatullah. Shortly afterwards, two unidentified men aged between 30 and 35 opened fire on their vehicle from a motorcycle near a petrol pump.
Ayesha died at the scene after a bullet struck her in the neck. The vehicle veered out of control and crashed into another car during the attack, leaving Aseema severely injured.
Her father, Fazal Sahibzada, said Ayesha had amassed around 1.3 million followers over three to four years of creating content.
Reports indicate that Ayesha was involved in financial disputes with two individuals and had previously received threats demanding money.
