One of Bahrain’s largest insurance companies is collaborating with the traffic police to provide speed radar devices to support national road safety efforts around the kingdom.
As part of its corporate social responsibility commitment and support for national initiatives, Solidarity Bahrain, a subsidiary of Solidarity Group Holding, has announced its collaboration with the General Directorate of Traffic (GDT) to provide speed radar devices.
“This initiative stems from our strong belief in the importance of contributing to community safety and supporting national efforts aimed at reducing traffic accidents,” Solidarity Bahrain chief executive officer Jawad Mohamed said.
The initiative supports the Interior Ministry’s efforts to promote compliance with traffic regulations and foster a culture of safe driving. It also reflects Solidarity Bahrain’s commitment to supporting national initiatives aimed at reducing traffic accidents.
GDT director-general Major General Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Abdulwahab Al Khalifa noted that enhancing road safety is a shared national responsibility that requires the concerted efforts of various institutions across society.
He added that the GDT continues to implement its awareness programmes alongside its field efforts, contributing to raising traffic safety awareness and promoting safe behaviour among all road users.
He expressed his sincere thanks to Solidarity Bahrain for this community initiative, emphasising that such meaningful partnerships with the private sector reflect the spirit of social responsibility and contribute to national efforts to further advance the road safety system in Bahrain.
