Kuwait Finance House–Bahrain (KFH-Bahrain) has successfully renewed its Electronic Funds Transfer System (EFTS) services certification in compliance with the global ISO 20022 MX messaging standard.
The certification follows technical and operational testing by Benefit, the operator of Bahrain’s national payment system, under standards mandated by the Central Bank of Bahrain.
The ISO 20022 MX framework enhances data accuracy, transaction speeds, and regulatory compliance across electronic payments, strengthening KFH-Bahrain’s digital infrastructure for retail and corporate clients.
KFH-Bahrain deputy group chief executive officer for technology and operations Samih Abutaleb said: “The renewal of our certification under the ISO 20022 MX standard represents another important milestone in the bank’s journey towards advancing digital transformation and strengthening its leadership in digital payments.
“We continue to invest in developing our digital solutions and payment infrastructure to enhance the speed and efficiency of our services, elevate the customer experience, and ensure the bank’s readiness to keep pace with future developments.”
