Bahrain strongly condemned the Israeli air strikes on the Abu Al Duhur airbase in Syria’s Idlib Governorate, describing the attack as a flagrant violation of Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, a breach of international law and the UN Charter, and a threat to regional stability.
The Foreign Ministry reaffirmed the kingdom’s firm position in support of Syria’s sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, as well as the aspirations of the Syrian people for security and stability.
It also urged an immediate halt to the escalation and stressed the need for full respect for state sovereignty and international law.
