The International Centre for Combating Media Disinformation (ICCMD) has announced the development of an advanced technology system for monitoring and analysing digital content, alongside the launch of the International Charter for Media Integrity and Combating Misinformation.
The announcement was made during the first meeting of the centre’s board of directors, held remotely under the chairmanship of Isa Al Shaiji.
The board comprises a distinguished group of Arab media leaders.
Mr Al Shaiji added that combating media misinformation requires the integration of expertise and partnerships among media, professional and academic institutions.
