TAEKWONDO – Bahrain’s international taekwondo referee Manar Al Rayes officiated at the 2026 World Taekwondo Women’s Open Championships, held in Taiyuan, China.
Al Rayes was appointed by World Taekwondo to participate in the event, therefore enhancing the presence of Bahraini referees in managing major sports competitions.
Al Rayes expressed her great pride and honour in being a part of the worlds, and stressed that this step contributes directly to enhancing the status of officials from the kingdom and raising the name of Bahrain in various international sports forums.
