MOTORSPORT – BAHRAIN’S rising karting star Tariq Soofi is preparing to undergo two crucial days of intensive testing this Friday and Saturday at Leopard Circuit Viterbo in Italy.
Tariq will be fine-tuning kart set-ups and elevate performance levels ahead of the final round of the 2026 Italian ACI Karting Championship, sanctioned by the Automobile Club d’Italia (ACI), which takes place from September 24 to 27.
Tariq, who drives with Lenovo Kali Kart team under Minardi Management, powered by DAG Management and Consulting, is competing in the European series with strong aspirations to continue his rapid development and deliver competitive performances.
This weekend’s testing serves as a key opportunity to learn the circuit layout, analyse technical data meticulously with the technical crew, and achieve the best possible race pace.
“Every lap on the track represents an opportunity to learn and get closer to peak performance,” said Tariq.
“We are fully focused on improving the kart’s set-up to ensure complete readiness when the Italian championship kicks off next week.”
The 11-year-old is supported by Bank of Bahrain and Kuwait (BBK), Shepherd Logistics, and the Holistic Medical and Rehabilitation Center.
