INJAZ Bahrain held its annual appreciation ceremony to celebrate its partners, volunteers, educators, coordinators and schools. The ceremony recognises their collective contribution to empowering Bahrain’s youth and preparing them with the skills and knowledge to succeed and shape the future.
It brought together INJAZ Bahrain’s wider community to celebrate the achievements of the 2025–2026 year and recognise those who have contributed their time, expertise and resources to supporting young people across the Kingdom.
Her Highness Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, Chairperson of INJAZ Bahrain, said that empowering young people is a collective effort made possible by the dedication of partners, volunteers, educators and coordinators who contribute their time, expertise and experience to shaping the next generation. She expressed appreciation to all those who believe in the potential of Bahrain’s youth and help create opportunities for them to learn, grow and lead. She added that INJAZ Bahrain remains committed to strengthening this community and inspiring more young people to turn their ideas and ambitions into meaningful impact.
A key highlight of the ceremony was the announcement of the second edition of the Her Highness Shaikha Hessa Award for Inspiring Entrepreneurs and Leaders, with applications now open. The award recognises individuals who demonstrate inspiring leadership and contribute to entrepreneurship and the development of future generations.
INJAZ Bahrain expressed its appreciation to its Diamond Board Partners, including Bapco Energies, Tamkeen, National Bank of Bahrain, GPIC, Beyon, Ebrahim K. Kanoo, Boeing, AlMoayyed International Group, Alba, BBK and BisB, alongside its Diamond Non-Board Partners, Bahrain Bourse, British Embassy, BMMI and Al Kooheji Foundation. The group also thanked its In-Kind Supporters, Burson Global, KPMG, Qays Al Zubi, the Ministry of Information Affairs, and the Economic Development Board, for their continued support.
Volunteer contributions were also celebrated, with Bapco Energies receiving first place in the Volunteer Service Awards with 2,388.5 volunteering hours, followed by Alba with 1,251.5 volunteering hours and National Bank of Bahrain with 618 volunteering hours. YK AlMoayyed & Sons and Ebrahim K. Kanoo ranked fourth and fifth, with 268 and 206 volunteering hours respectively during the year 2025-2026.
The organisation also recognised 23 Outstanding Diamond Volunteers who have completed more than 100 volunteering hours with INJAZ Bahrain over the years, and 10 Outstanding Platinum Volunteers who completed 50–99 hours during 2025–2026. It also extended appreciation to 132 Gold Volunteers, who each completed 24 hours during the year, and 36 Outstanding School Coordinators for their tremendous support and effort.
