A family driving through a tunnel in Wadi Al Aq, Oman, narrowly escaped a serious collision after a truck overturned and slid across the carriageway on its side.
Footage of the incident captured on Friday shows the truck flipping onto its side near a bend, producing a trail of sparks.
A car travelling ahead of the truck in the right-hand lane narrowly avoided being struck as the sliding vehicle came to a halt.
No official details have been released regarding casualties or the cause of the crash.
