Two people were injured in separate dog attacks in Kuwait on Saturday, prompting authorities to urge public vigilance and request that stray dogs be reported to the Interior Ministry.
An employee of the Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources was attacked by stray dogs while carrying out his duties.
In a separate incident, a woman was hospitalised after being attacked by a domestic dog while entering her home. Authorities registered a case of negligence in guarding an animal and accidental injury against the pet owner, with legal procedures now underway.
First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Shaikh Fahd Al Yousef visited the victims in hospital to check on their condition.
