The Supreme Committee for Haj and Umrah Affairs announced that more than 20,000 people registered to perform Haj for the 1447 AH/2026 season within the first two and a half hours of electronic registration opening through Bahrain’s unified platform, haj.gov.bh.
The committee said the platform saw a high level of demand from the first moments of registration, with thousands of citizens submitting applications, reflecting strong interest in performing Haj.
It said applicants who meet the requirements will be notified of their initial acceptance once the designated registration period ends, in accordance with the approved precedence and priority criteria.
The committee said that in the next stage, licensed tour operators will be given an appropriate period to announce their packages. The official date on which initially accepted applicants can select an operator will be announced later.
