Dubai has welcomed a new family destination with the opening of Lala Little Wonders, an immersive children’s play and creativity venue combining physical activity, imaginative play, workshops and celebrations.
Designed around the idea of letting children lead, the venue
features an adventure zone styled as a “small globe”, with five themed worlds
inspired by destinations across the continents.
Children can climb, bounce, swing and explore interactive
environments, including landmarks such as the Taj Mahal and Burj Khalifa.
A Dark Room of Continents offers immersive experiences
inspired by Africa, Australia, North America, Europe and Asia.
Beyond physical play, Glow Pop House offers makeovers,
braids, glitter and nail art, while The Vibe Vault features activities
including slime, clay, pottery, painting and baking. Workshops also include
arts and crafts, sand art, tie-dye and tote-bag dyeing.
The venue includes a dedicated celebrations area for
birthdays and private events, with food from Tom & Serg and entertainment
including dancers, magicians and balloon artists.
The concept was created by founder Dr Dalia AwadAlla, an
Egyptian Canadian physician, mother of three and early childhood education
leader.
“Lala Little Wonders is about giving children permission to
be curious, to move, to create and to discover things in their own way,” says
Dr AwadAlla. “We wanted to create somewhere that feels incredibly fun for
children, while giving parents the reassurance that there is so much happening
beneath that fun from building confidence and physical skills to encouraging
